Step 1. Import the PDF file to edit
Once started PDFelement for Mac To upload the PDF file to edit, click on below OPEN FILE and select the pdf document. See the following image of what the program's home screen looks like:
Once the PDF is imported, all the editing tools will appear that will allow you to make any type of change on the document.
Step 2: Edit PDF text and images
To modify the text of the PDF file, click on the “TEXT” icon in the left menu, also highlighted in the fig. below.
Then place the mouse on the part of the text to be modified and click to start editing. In addition to editing existing text you will also be able to add new text as you wish.
Similarly, you can edit/add images in the PDF file. Just select the “Image” and click on the image to remove/resize or replace.
There is also the possibility to insert or modify links present in the PDF. Just click on the “Links“, click on the icon at the top link to web page or link to a page in the documentand then select the text to apply the link to:
Step 3: Save PDF modified
To save all the changes made go to FILE –> SAVE AS and save the new PDF to your Mac.

Forms
PDFelement for Mac allows users to create PDF forms professionals starting from ready-made templates. Click on “Module” in the ribbon to enter edit/customize mode. From here you will be able to see all the applicable options for the interactive fields. Select an interactive field type, move the mouse into the empty area and start drawing the desired form.
Digital Signature
To protect your PDF document you can use the “Digital Signature” insertion function present in PDF Editor for Mac. Inside the Forms section, click on the small icon at the top relating to the digital signature to create a new digital signature. This signature can then be printed on your document in the position you wish.

PDF converter
By clicking on PDF CONVERTERand a window will open from which you can choose to convert the PDF document to WORD, EXCEL, POWERPOINT, HTML, EPUB or TEXT:
OCR function
By clicking on OCR text recognition or by opening a scanned PDF file, a window will open allowing you to enter OCR options. Simply select the correct language of the PDF file and click on the “APPLY“. PDF Editor Pro for Mac will recognize the text and make it digitized, editable (editable) and searchable.
Adding Watermark and Background
Personalize and protect your documents by adding a watermark, uploading an image (e.g. your logo) or inserting text.
You can also change the background of the document by choosing the color or importing an image.
Other functions
In PDFelement for Mac, again from the TOOLS section it is possible to carry out other interesting operations, such as the union more PDF, deleting pages from PDF, adding header to footer, inserting page numbersand adding a encryption i.e. a password to allow only certain users to open or modify the document.
