Transfer Contacts from iPhone to Galaxy S23/S22/S21/S20/S10/S9/S8/S7
At the time of writing this article, Samsung has recently released the latest model: Samsung Galaxy S21. It already promises to be a sales success thanks to the interesting innovations introduced on this device, such as improvements in hardware performance, battery and camera. If you have an old iPhone and have now decided to buy the new Galaxy, in this article we point out a simple, fast and safe way to synchronize and transfer contacts directly from iPhone to Galaxy S9/S10/S20/S21/S22/S23.
In reality, it is the same solution that we have already described in the article on how to transfer SMS from iPhone to Samsung Galaxy. For those who want to try to do such contact transfer manually, they should use Gmail or Outlook or iCloud. Once your contacts are in a Gmail account, you need to add the same account to your device and sync the contacts.
This manual method is feasible but not simple. However, there are data transfer software tools that can help you transfer contacts from iPhone to Samsung Galaxy in just one click! We are talking for example about MobileTrans or of Dr.Fone. They are sophisticated programs that allow the transfer of contacts, music, videos, SMS or WhatsApp messages, from iPhone to the new Samsung Galaxy within a few simple clicks. Below we will take a look at how they work and also highlight two manual methods for doing the same operation.
#1. MobileTrans
MobileTrans is a program that could help you quickly make copies of contacts from iPhone to Samsung (or vice versa transfer contacts from Android to iPhone). Click on the appropriate button below to download the free version of MobileTrans for Windows or Mac OS.

#2. Transfer Contacts from iPhone to Samsung with dr.Fone
dr.Fone is another program that can help you in this very delicate operation of transferring contacts from iPhone to Samsung. Read the following steps carefully to avoid making any mistakes.
Step 1. To get started, download and install dr.Fone on your PC or Mac. Below are the download links.
Step 2. Install and launch the program. The following main interface will open at the end:
Step 3. Click on the function PHONE TRANSFER and connect the two phones to the computer via USB

#3. Transfer Contacts from iPhone to Samsung via Gmail
If you don’t want to download programs to your computer then you might like this method. It involves exporting contacts from iPhone to your computer and then importing them to Samsung via Gmail. Here are the precise steps to follow.
- Using your PC (or Mac) browser, access iCloud.com (if by any chance you have never synchronized your iPhone data with iCloud, do it now and then log in to the iCloud site).
- Access the “ tabContacts” and choose the contacts to export
- Click in the bottom left corner and click “Export vCard“.
- Then log in to Gmail.com and log in with your Google credentials. Be careful to use the same Google/Gmail account that you have set up on your Samsung Galaxy, otherwise the method will not work.
- Click on the icon at the top right of Gmail and then click on it and choose “Contacts“
- Now press on the drop-down menu “Other” from the left panel and choose “It matters”.
- After importing your contacts to Gmail, take your Samsung Galaxy and access your address book. Here the synchronization should start and you will see all the contacts you imported into Gmail.
#4. Transfer Contacts from iPhone to Samsung via vCard
This method is very similar to the previous one. Basically you have to follow the first 3 steps described above to export your iPhone contacts to your computer in a .vcf file (VCard). Then all you need to do is upload this file to your Android (Samsung) device. You can for example use a SD memory card Or connect your phone to your computer via USB and then copy this vCard file to your Android device. Finally, open the vcf file by clicking on your Samsung and this will automatically insert all the contacts into your mobile phone’s address book.
