The app NOTE on iPhone is one of the most used and appreciated by users for both professional and personal use. To synchronize notes on iPhone there are several methods and in this article we will see how to do this synchronization with Gmail and with Outlook. Syncing is very important and frequent when it comes to iPhone notes, contacts and other data.
Part 1: How to Sync iPhone Notes with Gmail
If you want to sync your iPhone notes with Gmail, you need to configure your iPhone to use Gmail via IMAP and then proceed with synchronizing your notes. If you have already configured Gmail on your iPhone then you can immediately enable note synchronization. Those who do not know how to configure Gmail via IMAP on their iPhone must first do this with help from the many guides on the web. Once you have configured your IMAP account, proceed with the following steps:
Phase 1: Go to the Account settings Gmail created on your iPhone and then click on “Note“. Once the “Notes” item is activated, Gmail will automatically create a new label called “Notes”. Clicking on it will let you navigate through all your notes from your computer’s browser itself.
Phase 2: Sync is a way of viewing notes on your computer. If you make changes to notes on iPhone, the changes will also be reflected in your Gmail account, but you won’t be able to edit them from there. Note that you can only edit notes on your iOS device, be it an iPhone or iPad.
Want to sync notes from multiple iPhones?
You can enable Notes syncing across more than one Gmail account by selecting the different accounts on the account settings page. You can decide to access notes on all your accounts or just a particular account.
