How to reset iPhone as new

For backup to iTunes instead you need to connect your iOS device to your PC or Mac using the USB cable. Click on the iPhone or iPad icon in the top left corner of iTunes, under the Summary button. From the window that opens, you will notice the button to backup all your iPhone data in the bottom right.

Once you have backed up your iPhone, you can proceed to perform a factory reset and bring your iPhone back as if it were new. Here's what to do:

1. Go to Settings > General > Resetand select Erase all content and configurations.
2. After entering your passcode, if you have set one, a warning window will appear with the option to erase your iPhone (or iPad). Tap to confirm.
3. You will have to enter your Apple ID and Password to confirm the action, then the device will be erased and reset.
4. Your iPhone will return to the initial setup screen you saw when you first used the device.

How to Restore Android to New

To reset an Android phone all you need to do is access the Settings of the phone, click on the item “Backup & Restore” and finally click on the button RESET PHONEas highlighted in the following figure:

How to Make Windows Phone Like New

If you have a Nokia Lumia phone or any other device with a Windows Phone operating system, after performing the backup on OneDrive (read how to synchronize data on OneDrive), you can restore it in a few simple clicks.

2. Click on the button below Reset Phone
3. Click on YES in the warning window that asks you if you are sure you want to erase all data from your phone

How to Restore Phone to New Condition and Permanently Erase Data

If you find yourself in the situation of selling or giving away your cell phone, it is not enough to reset it to factory conditions using the internal function of the device. In fact, this function, even if it deletes a large part of the phone's content, could leave other information in the memory such as some photos, contacts, messages, etc. If you want to protect your privacy and want to make sure you delete all the data present in the device's memory, we recommend using a program such as SafeEraser.
