TunesGO is a professional software but at the same time very simple and intuitive to use. Step 1. Launch the program on your PC

First of all, install and launch the program TunesGO for Android. Connect your Android phone or tablet to your computer via USB cable (use the original cable to avoid connection problems). Once this is done, the Android phone will appear in the main program window.

Note: TunesGO for Android is compatible with many Android phones and tablets. In order for your Android phone to be detected by the program you need to activate USB debugging on it, from the settings. If you don’t know how to do it, read how to activate USB debugging

After your phone is detected by TunesGO, click on the tab at the top INFORMATION. The list of all your contacts will appear.

#2. Copy Contacts from Android to Mac

If you have a Mac computer, the procedure is very similar. But the software to use changes. In this case we recommend using the Android Transfer for Mac program. You can download the free demo version of this app from the following link.

After installing the app on your Mac you will see this main screen:

Connect your Android phone to your Mac via USB (or via Wi-Fi) and make sure the program detects it. Once it is recognized you can immediately start managing contacts by clicking on the left CONTACTS. The list of all contacts already present on the device will appear, as seen in this figure:

To copy the contacts to your Mac, simply click on the icon with the image of an arrow pointing downwards at the top. Before that you will first have to select the contacts to export (all or just some selected ones).

#3. Copy Android Contacts to PC/Mac without software

If you don’t want to use a third-party app to transfer your contacts, you can also take full advantage of the app”Contacts” or “Address book” of Android. Here’s how to do it.

  1. Take your Android phone and go to the app “Contacts” or “Address book
  2. Find the menu and select “Manage contacts” > “Import/Export contacts” > “Export contacts to SIM or vCard file”. By choosing to save them in a vCard file your Android contacts will be saved in your Android phone memory.
  3. Connect your device to your computer via a USB cable. After connecting it, a window will automatically open to access the phone’s memory folders.
  4. Find the folder where your contacts are located (specifically the vCard or VCF file) and copy them to your computer.

NB: Not all Android phones have an option that allows you to move all contacts to the phone’s memory, and some Android phones have very limited phone memory space.

Copy Android Contacts via Gmail

Another method to export Android phone contacts to PC, without using software, is to use Gmail. Since the Android phone is usually associated with a Google account, all data is synchronized with Gmail, including contacts. So we recommend that you log in to your Gmail account, and then access the Contacts function (by clicking on the dots icon at the top right of the Gmail screen). After accessing the contacts section you will be able to view all the data and finally access the function EXPORT to export Android contacts to your computer (Windows or Mac).
